The extraction of piassava straw is done manually, its removal is made from the top of the piassava palm, where the excess fiber produced by the palm is extracted without needing to cut it, that is, without causing any damage to the piassava palm, thus the collection process is also a way of cleaning, which gives the piassava palm greater longevity.

After extraction, the straw is separated and braided in a slat of eucalyptus measuring 2m in length, thus giving shape to the piassava comb which, due to its resistance the rain it is used to cover any type of structure.

The piassava comb makes the environment more beautiful and cozy with its rustic style, it works as a natural thermal insulator, reducing the temperature of the place and has an average durability of 12 years.
